Midt-Telemark Breiband AS is owned by Midt-Telemark Energi Holding AS (45%), Notodden Energi AS (45%) and Kinck AS (10%). The company's purpose is to offer private and business in the municipalities of Midt-Telemark and Nome a future-oriented and super-fast broadband network with a unique service content, all delivered through one and the same fiber cable, the service content is based on Altibox.
Midt-Telemark Breiband AS has had an adventurous growth since its inception and has today consolidated its position as the preferred supplier in the area.

We recommend that you do not cancel existing agreements on TV / Internet until we call and inform you when we arrive.
Should you receive a notice period from a previous supplier, you can contact us to get a customized start-up of our products. It is important that this is done before you are connected.
Connect decoder to home control panel
The decoder is connected to one of the outputs on the home central with a normal network cable (Cat 5e or higher). We recommend a wired connection between the home center and TV decoder, but wireless solutions exist. Other types of cable systems such as coaxial cable are not compatible with our solution. If you have several TVs, you can order extra decoder(s) by contacting our customer center on telephone: 350 250 50
Help with internal cabling?
If you want help with routing the network cable from the home exchange to data and TV points, this is agreed separately with the installation company when they call you to arrange a time for installation. We emphasize that this must be agreed in advance. You are also free to choose another company that can assist with network points. Everything that is agreed between you and the fitter is matters that are outside Midt-Telemark Breiband's responsibility, and you will be invoiced directly from the fitter company.

Development
In this phase, we build the necessary infrastructure and lay the fiber cable to the wall of your house.
The fiber will be delivered via air stretch if you do not already have pipes in the ground that we can use. If someone wants to bury fiber cable on their own property, you can get pipes from us.

We recommend that you do not cancel existing agreements on TV / Internet until we call and inform you when we arrive.

Development
In this phase, we build the necessary infrastructure and lay the fiber cable to your plot boundary or extend it to your house wall via air tension.
The submarine cable has now been laid, and we are in the process of stretching and blowing fiber in the field.
There remains some digging to connect the fiber network together, unfortunately we can't do this now that the telephone is in the ground. As soon as the phone goes off, we will continue the digging job so that you can get online with Altibox.
PS: Fiber development often requires digging in roads and roadsides. But fear not! When we have finished, we clean up and decorate so that you hardly notice that we have visited!

We are well underway with customer installations and we are nearing completion. Pipes have been laid provisionally in some places that we have to dig down in the spring.
Those of you who get a fiber coil added to your plot boundary must dig this down yourself up to the house wall.

When your own efforts have been carried out, give us feedback by phone or e-mail.
