Midt-Telemark Breiband AS is owned by Midt-Telemark Energi Holding AS (45%), Notodden Energi AS (45%) and Kinck AS (10%). The company's purpose is to offer private and business in the municipalities of Midt-Telemark and Nome a future-oriented and super-fast broadband network with a unique service content, all delivered through one and the same fiber cable, the service content is based on Altibox.
Midt-Telemark Breiband AS has had an adventurous growth since its inception and has today consolidated its position as the preferred supplier in the area.

We are pleased to announce that Altibox fiber development will take place in Skjellaugvegen.
We are well underway with customer installations and we are nearing completion.
Haven't heard from us? Then one of our installers will contact you in the near future to arrange a time for an inward facing installation if it is ready for this.

The decoder is connected to one of the outputs on the home central with a normal network cable (Cat 5e or higher). We recommend a wired connection between the home center and TV decoder, but wireless solutions exist. Other types of cable systems such as coaxial cable are not compatible with our solution. If you have several TVs, you can order extra decoder(s) by contacting our customer center on telephone: 350 250 50

If you want help with routing the network cable from the home exchange to data and TV points, this is agreed separately with the installation company when they call you to arrange a time for installation. We emphasize that this must be agreed in advance. You are also free to choose another company that can assist with network points. Everything that is agreed between you and the fitter is matters that are outside Midt-Telemark Breiband's responsibility, and you will be invoiced directly from the fitter company.

Vreimsida (NKOM)
We are well underway with the fiber work to deliver fiber to those of you who have ordered. There is still a fiber stretch across the river, but we will not be able to do this until the water flow is reduced. We hope to get this done as soon as possible.
When it is ready for customer connection, our installer will contact you to arrange a time for installation.

We are now ready for customer installations. You will be contacted by our installer in the near future to arrange a time for interior installation if it is ready for this.
Those who have a fiber optic cable laid to their plot boundary (or max 40 m from the house wall) must dig it down to the house wall themselves.

When you have completed your own work, give us feedback by phone or email.
Those of you who get the fiber cable into the house via overhead lines will not have to make any kind of effort yourself.
