Sleep mode decoder: To put the decoder in sleep mode. To turn it back on, press the sleep button again.

Recording: Records the selected program or series from the start.
Home: Opens the home window with an overview of contents.
Search: Search for content.
OK , Confirming your selections
Arrow keys: Used for navigation.

Back: Cancel and return to the previous screen. Can also be used to return to the previous channel.
Favorites: Adds the selected content to your favourites, so you can easily find series, movies and apps you like again.
Volume +
Turns the volume up.
Google Voice Assistant: Press the button to activate voice control on the remote control.
Channel: Use + to select the next channel.
Controls the volume down.
Mute: Turns the sound completely off and on.
Channel: Use - to select the previous channel.
Playback keys: Press to skip back. Hold the button to rewind continuously.
Playback keys: Play/Pause
Playback keys: Press to skip forward. Hold the button to fast forward continuously.

*Controlling the TV requires that the remote control is connected to your TV. You can do this by navigating to the cogwheel at the top right of the home window, press "OK" when the cogwheel is highlighted and then select "Remote control".
The TV portal
By clicking on the Menu button on the remote control, you bring up the main menu. Here you get a full overview of content including TV guide, programs and series, films, 'My recordings' and apps.
In some of the pictures, we have inserted a hand pointing at the TV screen. You can follow it to see where the features are.
MINI TV GUIDE
Are you watching an exciting programme, but want to check the TV guide? Press the up arrow key on the remote control. You will then get a side menu where you can click through your channels and see what is on TV right now. Press 'OK' if you want to change the channel.
TV GUIDE
The TV guide shows the schedule of all your TV channels. If you click on a highlighted programme, you get several options - such as record and start over. NB! You must use the back button to get to the choices at the top of the TV guide. Here you can search for programs. You can also find programs by selecting the date of transmission, category and the channel on which the program is broadcast.
START OVER
A little late for the broadcast?
No problem!
When you choose a channel, you can easily start from the beginning. Click on the down arrow and navigate to 'view from start'. You can also choose the program you want to start from the beginning via the TV guide. Click 'OK' when you find the desired programme. Then you get the choice to start over.
HOW TO RECORD
Recording can be done in three different ways:
1. Via the TV guide on the decoder: Click on the Menu button > Select the TV guide > Find the program you want to record > Click on 'record'> Select type of recording> Find the recording after transmission by clicking on the Menu button , and select 'My recordings'.
2. Via the Altibox app on your phone or tablet using the same procedure as the decoder.
3. By clicking the red button on the remote control while watching a broadcast.
There are three types of admission choices:
1. Record this and subsequent episodes: Record the selected programme, and all future episodes.
2. Record all episodes, including repeats: Record previous episodes and seasons, if they are shown on TV in the future.
3. Record the programme: Only records the selected programme/episode.
MY RECORDINGS
NRK TV
'NRK TV' is included in the TV subscription. Here you will find NRK TV's entire archive. The programs are divided into categories so that you can easily navigate between films, series, documentaries and more - without thinking about the broadcast schedule.
APPS
In the home window there is a row with the name 'App per'. Here you see the most popular streaming services and the apps you have installed yourself.
When you click on the menu button on the remote control, you also get the 'Apps' category (see picture). In addition to an overview of streaming services, you can click into the Google Play store. Here you get access to all the apps Google Play offers - including many different games.
GOOD NORWEGIAN
You will find 'Good Norsk' under 'Apps'. The streaming service is included in your subscription in the same way as the fixed channels, and is packed full of Norwegian films and series!
CHILDREN
In the main menu, you can select 'Children' to get an overview of channels and content for children. Here you can see, among other things, which children's films and series are popular right now. If you have started a series or film, you can resume the program here.
MOVIES
The place where you find films to buy and films to rent - in addition to programmes, series and films from streaming services and channels. Every month we treat you to a film that will be available here. To find content, you can use the search field or select a category. If you buy or rent a movie, the amount will be added to your monthly invoice.
FAVORITES
When you are in the home window you can scroll down to find 'Favorites'. Here is all the content you have marked as favorites by clicking on the heart icon on the remote control.
SEARCH
PROGRAMS AND SERIES
Here you will find programs that have aired on selected TV channels up to Seven Days Back in Time.
You will also find series from selected streaming services - in addition to series available for rent.
SETTINGS
In the home window you will find the TV box's settings. With the arrow keys you can navigate to the gear wheel at the top right. Click on the gear to get to the settings. Here you can restart the decoder, hide TV channels, choose the language for subtitles and much more.
To change or add a network, click on device settings at the bottom and select "Network and Internet".
The Altibox app
The Altibox app is available at no extra cost to all customers who have TV decoders from Altibox. Here you can watch almost all the TV channels, in addition to films, recordings, streaming services, TV guides and program archives, on tablets, mobiles, AppleTV 4/4K and computers.
To use the app on tablet and mobile, you must first download it from the AppStore or Google Play.
1. Start the app or open the website www.tv.altibox.no
2. If you are connected to the home network, you will be automatically logged in.
3. If you are outside your home network, you must log in with your username and password.
WATCH TV
TV GUIDE
You can find the TV guide in the bottom right-hand corner of the front page. In the TV guide, you can click on programs you want to watch, add to favorites or start recording. You can also see if there are available episodes in the program archive.

SEVERAL CHOICES

At mtbreiband.no , you as a customer get a personal page with a full overview of your customer relationship, such as invoices. Create a personal user at mtbreiband.no. If you have already created a username and password, you can log in at mtbreiband.no .
When you are logged in, you see the user menu. You can click here for more information on topics related to your customer relationship. In the green field at the top of the page, you will find operating messages for your area.
USE POINTS TO CHOOSE TV CONTENT
In the main menu, click on 'Choose your TV content'.
- The number of free points you have available in your subscription is shown here.
- The green 'ticks' show all channels and streaming services you have selected per dd .
- To select or deselect content, click on the picture of the channel, sports package or streaming service you want/don't want to have in the TV package. Save by pressing the blue button at the score overview.
- It takes max. an hour before changes to selected content are shown on your TV on your TV, although usually much faster. The changes in your TV content are activated immediately when the decoder is restarted.
- If you have selected content that exceeds the number of points, it will not be possible to save.
Are you wondering about something?
